In her previous roles as Senior Consultant, Head of Oculoplastic Department and Clinical Director of the General Eye Clinic at Singapore National Eye Centre as well as Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Dr Looi has made major contributions to the advancement of General and Oculoplastic care in Singapore, both in clinical practice and in training the next generation of ophthalmic surgeons.

Moving to Ava Eye Clinic, Dr Audrey Looi brings with her over 20 years of high volume clinical experience in managing general as well as subspecialised eye conditions. Her special areas of interest are in Cataract Surgery and Oculoplastic Surgery where she has performed over 7000 cataract surgeries and over 4000 oculoplastic procedures including eyelid, lacrimal, socket and orbital surgeries.

At Ava Eye Clinic, Dr Looi will pioneer a new approach towards complete rejuvenation of the eyes. This will see her patients benefiting from restored vision and the highest possible chance of spectacle freedom after cataract surgery, and allow them the opportunity to rejuvenate and revitalize the eyelid area.

Our Ava team of dedicated medical, nursing and optometry staff will strive to elevate the patient experience at the clinic whilst delivering excellent eye care that we can all be proud of.
